DOGS on HOGS bike rally.
Here's the wild bunch ( we're missing 3 from the pic + the girls ). We all headed out Saturday morning. It was cloudy, streets were a little wet, but no rain. It had just stopped raining about 8 that morning ( we left at 9am ). It was a great ride, Keith led the pack through speed traps at 80+mph. I guess cops just took one look at Keith and said " I ain't stopping no Hells Angels." Yes, Keith your biker looks paid off! We all met at Keith's & Vicki's house. In the pic you see Rick, Jim, Griff, and Ernie Doing what bikers do best... EATING. It was a quick stop to eat ( I was starving ) and on we went. Here's Vicki batting her eyes trying to pick up Keith. Hey, Vicki here's a hint: your married to him. You already have him. Here we are busting through a radar trap. I can see Pete saying to the cops, " Officer I didn't know this bike could go that fast. " Ok, who looks better- me or the bike. Sorry Jim, the Bike ! Brad saying: " I need more power Scotty." By the way whoever said you need to look in the direction you're going. I'm Bad , I know it, I'm bad. Rick, your bike is bad. Yeah buddy "be the bike" ! MIB... The good guys dress in black remember that, ( here come the Men In Black ). He's just a good old boy, never doing no harm, been in trouble with the law since the day he was born. DUDE, the peace sign is like, way out-dated; come up with something new. Vicki you're the BABE ! You can do no wrong ! By the way you would look better on a white bike ( LOL )Oh honey let me drive. No dear this is a man thing. Hogs and men go together. Here we are at Vicki's parents house. That's her dad ( POP ) in the white shirt thinking... There goes the neighborhood. I thought I taught my daughter how to choose her friends a little better than that. As Vicki has a choke hold on Keith, she's saying... "Ok, remember I don't care where you get your appetite as long as you come home to eat". And you can see Vicki's sister saying to Randy... "Yeah, remember that too Harley boy". All right sis, the boys are gone. Lets take their bikes and check out the sights! YEAH BABY ! WHO'S THE MAN ! That's right you guys go play, I'm staying here with the two hottest girls at the rally !!!!!! ( I'M NO DUMMY ) Just some happy campers. And there's POP thinking... Funny thing, this looks a lot like my camper. Rick... I think this goes here. Jim... No it goes here. Hey, where did that pole come from. Terry... What the heck is Elio doing with that pole between his legs. Elio... Wait I got it, I got it. POP saying... Honey, as soon as we're done eating we are out of here. I am not getting stuck with the bill this time. SORRY BOYS ! That's all you get. POP... You know Vicki I take back everthing I said about your friends. They're a really good fun bunch of guys. And they sure know how to party, especially that short one with the camera. What's his name... Olio, Orio, Julio, Leo... No, officer I only had one beer but can you help me back to my camp sight. I seem to have lost my way. By the way where are we again? Quick take the pic before I fall over, AGAIN ! HI, this is my first time at a bike rally and the boys back home will not believe me unless I take a pic with a really hot girl. Oh by the way, Do you like Yamahas?..... SLAP ! Guess not. But thanks for the pic. OK LADIES ! Who needs some beads !

It was another great trip with good friends. It was a great place to people watch and say "I can't believe I just saw that". As you all know I have a bunch more pics of the rally. But I can't post them here ( my sisters' kids check out the web site at times ). I will be happy to send them to you e-mail or I will copy them to a CD and send them to you. Just e-mail me. Safe riding, make good friends, Keep your wife happy ( that way you can ride more ) and LETS GO RIDING !

ROUTE 66 part 2

Welcome back to part 2 of ROUTE 66. As you can see just about every sign we came upon with route 66 on it we took a pic of it or with it. The little town of Seligman, Arizona was one of my favorite towns. Tom and I hung out for about 1 1/2 hours. We met some other bikers. Tom started talking to a local guy. Me, I walked around the whole town and talked to the shop owners. It was A GREAT TIME ! If you are ever going down Hwy 40 in Arizona you need to stop by this town, you will be glad you did. And if you do you need to see and visit with Bob , John, and Angel. They have the best hamburgers and the coolest stuff to look at as you sit and enjoy your burger. Make sure you check out his SNOW CAR. John gave me a ride through the town in his Snow Car. I have to say that was one of my highlights of the trip. John's brother Angel has a barber shop in the town just two buildings down. Angel has been cutting hair since 1947 at the shop. All three of them are the nicest guys you can meet. But watch out for the mustard bottle, they get a little crazy with the mustard.

This is their hamburger shop. The famous Snow Car. Their Dad built the car and it's a fun wild ride. Just hold on. Here we are going through town ( inside car view ). Check out the climate control thermostat at the bottom left. Now that's style ! Bob and John at work ( remember the mustard bottle ). Here is Angel saying, " Go ahead make my day. Want a haircut? " These brothers help keep the history of Route 66 alive and we thank them. Ok, so maybe their bathroom facilities need a little help , but who goes to a restaurant just for the bathrooms ! Hey I'm thinking of up-grading to a bigger bike. You think they'll take the Hog as a trade in.Just another cool place in town to hang out. Hey, I still think we're going the right way. Here is another one of those signs. We must be getting ready to climb a mountain, this one has wings on it. ( Yep, he scares me too you guys ) Look Mom, I found my twin brother. This is a '57 corvette. The same year Tom was born. Too bad Tom's not in as good of condition as the car ( Sorry, Tom I just had to say that. ) Elio, come check out what I traded the Hog in for! Yeah, Tom you always did say you wanted American steel... that's a lot of steel. We'll just hook it up behind the Yamaha and I'll pull you home. This bike is so well balanced you don't even need a kickstand. NOT !!!!! Yes, he dropped the bike 2 times on the trip. Again, PLEASE don't try this at home. Tom and Gary are professionals at dropping their bikes. It takes Great skill ( NOT ! ), lack of concentration, a forgetful mind, and a full understanding of the phrase " I don't know what happened. " to do this. Again please don't try this at home. Leave this part of riding to Tom & Gary. BAD BOY, BAD BOY what cha gonna do. What cha gonna do when she......for you! Well, I hope you have enjoyed the pics and were able to imagine yourself on the trip with us. It was a great fun trip. We had no rain to speak of. It was a little cool in the mornings but we were real men and rode on. I know Tom hated my 6:30am wake up calls but it made a new man out of him ( LOL ), and there were roads to ride and things to see. I have so many more pics about 400 + so you know I can't post them all. But I will from time to time post a few of the better ones. Ride Safe, Keep It Up ( the bike that is ) and Let's Go RIDING !

ROUTE 66 part 1
Get your kicks on Route 66. Now I fully understand that saying. It's just amazing riding. You can only imagine what it was like back in those days when people drove their old ( back then new ) cars and motorcycles across that road. And all the roadside attractions; what was cool and fun back then is now called cheesy, gaudy, or tackie. But all this cheesy stuff... attracts thousands of people every year to Route 66. It's a road where you can go back in time and relive those days gone by.
The next few pics are of Tom's and my Route 66 road trip.

Here we are taking a break and enjoying the sights. See the dinosaur in the reflection- we were trying to remember who it reminded us of. I thought it was an old girlfriend, Tom thought it looked alot like himself but just a little older ( TOM WON ). Here is a roadside motel. Yes, they are TeePees. And back then people really stayed in them. What's cool is the owners have left some old cars there to give it that "back to the past" look. I can just imagine what Karen would do to me it if I told her, " I booked this really cool motel"

We overheard some girls talking about how much they like men in uniform ( especially firemen ). So we found the truck, put the uniforms on and we waited and waited and waited... Yep we gave up. What we forgot to hear ( or chose not to hear ) was the part about YOUNG men in uniform.

Well after the fireman thing we went and found some desperate girls. Hey, they were a little bit stiff but they didn't argue and never said no ( YEAH BABY ).

This is a great action shot of Tom going down the road. I picked up this photo technique from my buddy Gary. Please don't try this at home. We are professionals. Great skill, stupidity, and down right crazyness is needed to perform this photo technique. The next few pics are of the same great action shots. So just sit back and enjoy.

Well, hope you liked the action shots. I will soon have more to show. Here we are saying : "Hey, Elio do you think those girls see us yet? " "I don't know Tom but just keep looking tough. " Here is Tom clapping as he says: " WOO HOO. Look Elio, those girls are looking. I think they see us ,I think they see us. " NO, TOM ! They are looking at the petrified forest behind you and they are probably saying, "look at that big petrified log some one painted blue". Hey, Tom hand me that tool pouch I brought, I think I can get it running ! I'M KING OF THE WORLD ! Here is Tom saying, "Hurry up and take the damn pic before I start crying. I'm afraid of heights". Look at the death grip he has on that bar and bush. HELLO, TOM ! YOU ARE A FLIGHT ATTENDANT.

Oh, great ! Here is another ASS wanting to take a pic with me. Maybe if I act asleep he'll go away. The least he could do is feed me like all the other asses.

Well, hope you have enjoyed Part 1 of ROUTE 66. Stay tuned for part 2 with more fun great pics.
